The global flagship project of urban mobility, European Mobility Week, will once again be celebrated under the umbrella of the SUMP Türkiye project from September 16-22, 2024, simultaneously with all of Europe!

Last year, Türkiye became the European leader in participation, with a record number of project submissions from 670 municipalities. This year, the goal is to increase the number of high-quality project submissions and bring home even more awards from the week!

Celebrated in all our cities in collaboration with SUMP Türkiye, European Mobility Week 2024 has announced its theme as "Shared Public Space," calling out to all of Türkiye:

“Let’s Experience the City Together in Shared Public Spaces!”
Come on, Türkiye, let’s use our Shared Public Spaces more efficiently and fairly:
  • Let’s increase pedestrianized streets!
  • Let’s use bike lanes!
  • Let’s meet in parks and walking routes!
  • Let’s switch to electric vehicles!
  • Let’s use public transportation!
Join now as a SUMP Türkiye Volunteer! Start using sustainable urban transportation methods more frequently. During European Mobility Week 2024, let’s experience a greener, healthier, safer, quieter, and traffic-free city together in Shared Public Spaces!
