The project Consortium consists of a specialised international team including Rupprecht Consult as Consortium Leader (Germany), Polis (Belgium), MuConsult-Panteia (Netherlands), and local partner BNN Consulting and Engineering (Türkiye).
Rupprecht (www.rupprecht-consult.eu) is an independent research and consultancy company based in Cologne, Germany. It is a well-known international player in the field of sustainable urban mobility, with 25 years of experience in European and international projects with focus in Central Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Since 1996, Rupprecht's pluri-disciplinary team of international experienced researchers and advisors have developed innovative solutions for sustainable development in co-operation with partners from across Europe and beyond. Rupprecht leads and delivers complex multi-partner projects in the fields of sustainable urban mobility, evaluation and impact assessment, policy analysis, stakeholder and network management, and knowledge transfer. As such, Rupprecht is highly experienced in facilitating systematic consultation processes, managing large stakeholder networks, and empowering city practitioners through various learning and exchange opportunities, both online and in person.
Polis (www.polisnetwork.eu) has been a European network for dialogue and cooperation on innovative urban transport issues between cities and regions since 1989. POLIS currently represent around 100 cities, regions and transport authorities from all over Europe. It aims to support European cities and regions to improve the quality of life of their citizens through innovative measures for sustainable urban transport. The Network facilitates access to European initiatives and research programmes for its members, looking into solutions for urban and regional mobility, in the field of health and environment, traffic management and intelligent transport systems, road safety, and social and economic aspects of transport. POLIS events, publications and in-house expertise create opportunities for members to exchange experience and forge partnerships among themselves, with the industry and the research community, and to develop innovative solutions. Polis also provides decision makers with strategic information to improve urban and regional transport, and they advocate the development of an adequate policy framework at the European level to achieve sustainable mobility in cities and regions. In 2015, the Polis Global Platform was established, to foster cooperation and exchange between European cities and their counterparts from the rest of the world on transport related topics.
MuConsult-Panteia (www.panteia.eu) is a Dutch consultancy firm which supports policy and decision makers, to help them formulate, monitor and evaluate strategies for an effective strategy in different fields, including the economic and transport sector, labour market, health and education. To do so, they apply unique knowledge bases and innovative methods, supported by independent market and policy research. MuConsult-Panteia aims to contribute to sustainable, social and economic progress. Their areas of interest are: (1) Transport and mobility; (2) Economy and Business; (3) Social Affairs; (4) Data & Analytics; (5) Market Research. BNN (www.bnn.com.tr) Consulting and Engineering was established in 2017 and is a candidate to be one of the leading engineering consulting companies in Türkiye providing design, project management, supervision, quality assurance and control services tailored to the needs of Public Sector in the field of transport. BNN have an extensive experience in implementation of donor funded transportation projects. They involved in preparation of tender documents, project management, construction supervision, quality control, expert appraisal, bid evaluation and post auditing. These facilities assure our ability to handle major multi-disciplinary projects. BNN has extensive experience in project planning, feasibility and environmental impact assessment studies, technical design and environmental control studies.
