On 30 June 2025, the “Mobility for Everyone” manifesto will be unveiled to the public
through a media launch hosted at the headquarters of the Union of Municipalities of
Türkiye (UMT). The launch will present the five core principles of the manifesto,
aiming to spread the message through national and local media.
To symbolise the importance of integrating sustainable transport modes—such as
public transport, bicycles, and e-scooters—into our daily lives, media representatives
and stakeholders including the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye, the Ministry of
Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate
Change, the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, and the SUMP Türkiye Project team
will walk in a micro-mobility convoy from the iconic Kuğulu Park to the UMT
headquarters.
Throughout the event, key themes of the manifesto—from accessible stop designs
and safe cycling infrastructure to clean transport solutions and seamless
integration—will be emphasised visually and verbally. The launch will conclude with
short remarks from institutional representatives and the presentation of example
roadmaps by selected municipalities for their 2025 European Mobility Week activities.
This media launch will be announced both in person and simultaneously across
SUMP Türkiye’s social media platforms to amplify the call for “Mobility for All” across
a broad audience.
We invite all our stakeholders to embrace the 2025 European Mobility Week vision
and take part in the transformation towards sustainable urban mobility.
Let’s unite in 2025 under the message of
#MobilityForEveryone
and live in a fair, inclusive, participatory, democratic, and creative city.
