Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, the national launch of European Mobility
Week was held with the participation of distinguished members from the SUMP
Türkiye Project Management Team, students from İzmir Katip Çelebi University, and
many citizens. The event also marked the official launch of the “Bike to University
(B2U)” initiative, developed by SUMP Türkiye Volunteers. The event began with a symbolic bike ride from İzban Mavişehir Station to İzmir Katip
Çelebi University and continued with vibrant DJ performances and an award
ceremony.
